For Spring/Summer 2018 Moschino Creative Director, Jeremy Scott showed pieces inspired by western Americana. Cowboy boots, ten gallon hats, patchwork denim, and western motifs with a dash of Vegas flare were abundant in the collection. While not groundbreaking the collection was very in line with his recent work. Over the top to the point that it may seem like it's actually satire and a bit juvenile with the addition of Spongebob Squarepants printed on on a few of the pieces. That being said when styled properly I'm sure that some of these pieces could work. Take a look at some of the stand out pieces in the gallery below.
I have to admit while I find a majority of the pieces to be a bit gauche I'm feeling inspired to do a shoot with western themes. Perhaps I need to look into making that happen? Stay up to date on my current projects and follow me on instagram @Erosman_mag
